fall...

...is here in new england. this weekend, steve and i packed away all of our "summer clothes" and got out our cooler weather attire...sweaters, beanies, scarves. i'm a little sad that summer is over, but it will be fun to see the fall colors start to appear.

happenings:

- friday marked the end of clinical...a good end, i think. i come away from that experience with a better understanding of what it's like to actually be a PT, managing schedules and paperwork and facility stuff, and what it's like to be responsible for the care of a patient. it's not the area of PT i hope to enter once i'm done with school, but it was definitely a valuable eight weeks. and affirming - on a couple of separate occasions, i was told that i was "made to be a PT", which was really, really good to hear.
- small group has started at the boutry home, and i am super excited about it! we have a couple of new people (new to reunion and somewhat new to boston), some quincy street-ers, and diana.
- steve and i have been able to go on some fun dates since we've been in boston, and this past week, we found a great indian food restaurant down the street from our home. it was delicious!
- school starts tomorrow...i'm looking forward to this mostly because we're starting neuro rehab...this is the stuff i've been waiting for!
