planning
i'm learning that it's actually pretty difficult to document my day through pictures in my line of work, so i'm figuring out how to be creative! i have had a pretty busy day so far...woke up at 5:30am to head out to observe surgery, which is always really cool...back to the clinic for staff meeting...shadowed my former CI for 2 patients...met with the clinic manager for a planning/goal setting meeting. i was so grateful for this meeting, because up until about 3 hours ago, i didn't have a clear picture in my mind of what the next 6 months (my residency period) was going to look like. being a planner and linear thinker, it was nice to map this out. i'm really excited for this time/training, and particularly for some of the opportunities that have been planned out with my specific interests in mind!
addendum to day 13: i looooooove puppies and really want a dog...we can't have one in our apartment, so instead i look at this website pretty much every day. today's is especially cute and cuddly. thanks to kait for passing this along a while back!

I definitely can appreciate having a plan...
I wish you could have a dog...such a stress reliever in many ways...something to be said for unconditional love :) Cats, now that's a different story - they will show affection when THEY feel like it!
pshh cats are all about love, don't be jealous because my cat only really loves me unless you're giving her treats haha.
you got me hooked on that website. I think you guys should get a dog tooooo!
aren't the puppies so cute?! we'll have a dog one day...just not anytime soon :(
