monday
it's definitely fall here in boston. this morning, i woke up at 5:30am and it was completely dark. usually, i'm greeted by the rising of the sun, which helps with the getting-ready and getting-going process. but man, when it's dark, it is so hard to find the motivation to get out of bed! it feels like fall has arrived earlier than usual, but i guess it is already the end of september! hard to believe this month has gone by as fast as it has. here's the quick recap of the day (after the waking up part): worked, picked steve up, had a good discussion/processing time about the happenings lately, steve went for a run and i made a really good vegetable and pasta soup with our CSA crop, finished communication cards for reunion, watched the movie "date night", and got ready for bed. on my nightstand currently is a heartbreaking work of staggering genius right now (a little late to the party, but oh well), and all i'll say at this point is that the book is very true to its title...
