Day 35

mouse

a couple of nights ago, steve saw one of these run across our living room floor. we alerted the landlord, who came over this morning with a pest control guy to check out the situation. i had a meeting from 7-8am, then came back home to be there to let them in (i didn't have to be at work until 11:30). the experience of the time they were here was pretty entertaining...the guy checked our house, then found the likely mousehole behind the stove...apparently the mouse hadn't hung out there too much, because there were only a handful of "turds" (his choice of word, said in a Boston accent!). he closed everything up, and we're all set for the start of the cold weather now!
