weekendlots going on! here's a quick recap:
saturday morning: breakfast with justin (a college student visiting from missouri), dustin, and steve, at mckenna's cafe in dorchester. i'm not sure how i missed this place when we actually lived there, but the breakfast is AMAZING. also ran into laura from work, which was fun!
saturday afternoon: spent a few hours at the albertson home in east boston. it was great to catch up, meet henry, and enjoy good conversation. so glad to have them as neighbors!
saturday night: watched the giants win game 1 of the NLCS against the phillies at diana's apartment. good ribbing of each other (diana is from a suburb of philadelphia, and a phillies fan), an intense game, and delicious food.
sunday morning: a crazy day at church, because reunion found out last minute that there would a room change (with a significant square footage drop) for the morning's gathering. this meant that the room was packed with people, and connecting time was a little overwhelming!
sunday afternoon: so far, steve and i are catching up on some household tasks and getting ready for the week. game 2 is on tonight at 8!
