weekend
read.retreat.serve was this weekend, and went really well! steve posted on his blog about it, with some pictures i took, so i'll redirect you there. today, we went to church, came home and did some work/chores, and then headed over to the hawkins for a halloween celebration and trick or treating with their kids and the bacons. it was so much fun to experience the excitement of dressing up and walking around the neighborhood with the kids. plus there were a ton of cute costumes...i've found that i'm a sucker for little kids in animal costumes!
