my first full-time clinical experience began yesterday! i'm at an outpatient facility and will primarily be seeing orthopedic patients. so far, it's going well, and i think i'm going to enjoy my time there, even though my hours are a little strange (some days are early, some are late). last night i got home from the clinic at 8:30pm and i woke up at 5:00am to get to work today...i think the last time i had that kind of schedule was with college water polo!
over the next couple of weeks, i'll be easing into my own caseload of patients and that should be fun (and maybe a little terrifying at first!).
plus, i'm getting to hear some very pronounced new england accents, which is great. i just hope i don't pick it up! :)
