after work today, we went to a 2-part tyrone wells concert at cafe 939 (affiliated with berklee college of music). after the 1st show, we were able to catch up with mike, who is in the band, and who was a good friend of mine and stacey's during the latter half of college. steve and i normally don't get the opportunity to spend much time chatting and catching up whenever we go see them play, but tonight we did. it was so great to hear about his family, the tour, and other things that are going on. and it's always good to have a connection to california...i'm still feeling pretty homesick these days!
